I was unaware that there were any Brazilian parts for the Typ 3. Learn something everyday. I installed a pair of German door seals last fall after the originals lasted 30 years. At first glance, I too thought that these OEM replacements were too long, but actually, they are not, nor IMHO, could they be; they should not be any different than the originals. With some work, you can get them to fit right. The same goes with the original front and rear hood seals that I bought. FWIW, at 20 bones each, you can replace Brazilian seals on an annual basis if they fall apart. For better peace of mind, you can install OEM seals and not worry about them again. They are made to last. The seal is great once they have been properly installed - which means that you have to open a wing window to get the door closed all of the way. Just my E0.02 worth (that's Euros, in case someone wondered). Patrick Patrick Joel Morton Rauhankatu 28 as 27 FIN -- 20100 TURKU Finland, E.U.
