Does anyone know of a muffler shop in Southern California that specializes in VW's or does anyone know of a bolt on muffler that will fit my notch and clear the rear apron? I have a single Empi muffler that when installed hits and damages the rear apron. I cut and reconfigured the muffler (cut the pipe that goes from the flange to the muffler body 1" and turned the muffler sideways) I've gone to two muffler shops and explained how and why I need them welded together and they look at me like I'm speaking another language (Whew! It's hard being a woman customizer!) So.
