RE: [T3] heat

Sounds like you saw the fresh air blower on a late model Fasty. (Did the
early cars have these too?) That blower was standard (i think), but it was
not tied into the heat system in anyway. It just pulled fresh air from the
cowl vents and blew it through the dash openings. One might be able to use
it to blow hot air. It would depend on whether the motor was in the air
stream or not. If it is, it might get to hot trying to blow the hot air.
If it is isolated from the air, it could be used but would need some
creative plumbing to get the heat into and out of it.

The heater booster kits from Barney's that are advertised could be used on a
Type III/typ3/Type 3/T3 (sorry, couldn't resist). You would just have to
modify the installation to suite your car. Be aware that these kits require
you to cut holes in the body of your car. Pretty big holes too. Of course,
my re-routed heater system will require body modification too, but then mine
is going to be DARK.
