I agree, it does matter in databases, however, we are a dedicated Type III list and as such T3 means "Type III". If we were a bus list then I'm sure it would mean Transporter 3 (Spock, beam this thread outta here!). When we use "FI" we know it means "fuel injection" and not "First In", as in "First In, Last Out" in computers and assembly-line manufacturing. As to outside this list, it is my belief that "Type 3" is known to be used for our model of cars while "T3" is used by those *in the know* for Transporters. As such, those Transporter volks are wrongly confusing their subcategorization as a major categorization. To me it's a simple mistake on their part.
