You idle sounds just about right to me, but why not try it 100 RPM 
higher and see if that helps. I have not seen this symptom before to 
my recollection.

Pull out the ash tray and remove the screw that you can see in the 
back of the "hole." Then just pull the outer "lining" out toward you 
and tell us what you find.
