I bought 4 KYB GR2 shocks - front and back all take the same shock. The part number is 343144 if that helps - assuming it's a KYB part number that's on this receipt. I bought this off a local supplier, but another Canadian supplier ( www.bowwow.ca ) uses a part number that ends with the same digits. Bowwow also lists it as being a general VW front and rear shock. Check it out online for details - follow the "online catalogue", "volkswagen", "type 3" links. It also lists some other shocks - you might be able to match the part numbers to something local for you.
