A horn relay probably wouldn't handle the solenoid current for ever; I'd say it would be rated a bit light for the current. However, tôþÛ‰ ignition switches take more of a hammering from 6V (bigger currents), so another relay would be a wise investment. Radio Shack might be a source; 6V with contacts rated at 30amp should be OK (if you are still 6V). Dave.
