thanks... It's also been suggested that I don't have
the rotor all the way down..... I'm gonna feel real
dumb (yet elated) if that's all it is....I hope it is
all just as easy as the suggestions I've been
getting.... 

one more quick note... while the dist was off... I
tuned the breaker plate clockwise (only about an inch
or less) and held with my finger the whole on the
vacuum advance... the breaker plateÑo ¿ went
back... did I test it right?.. this means somethings
not right , right?....
