The 411 engine is 1700cc.  I can't see how a T3 ECU designed to give
the right mixture for a 1600cc engine will work correctly on a
1700cc.  I seem to remember the T4 engine is wanted as an
alternative for when he takes out the T3 for overhaul.  I reckon it
would be better to try to locate the correct Type 4 ECU and wiring
loom for the engine he has.  I know someone who could send them from

I know a T4 ECU will run a T3, at least at idle, as I've tried it,
but it isn't the same unit.
The only T4 into T3 swaps I know are carb-based, which gets round
some of the problems, but it must be possible to do it with FI too.
