Re: [T3] The Virgin

DonovanB=> for some reason, the engine constantly stalls out as if it

=> its the fuel injection.

First, the usual sermon, abridged --
* This is *the* most common reaction to any unknown problem with an FI
  VW engine, and almost always unjustified.
* Switching to carbs does *not* lower your hassle factor, and can
  seriously increase it.

Tell us a little more about your problem, maybe we can save you a lot of
trouble and expense. What specifically points you to the injection
system rather than, for instance, the fuel supply system? Does
'constantly' mean under both cold and warm conditions? (If so, how do
you get it warmed up?) Does it restart easily? What sort of fuel are you
using? Have you replaced the fuel filter and checked for water in the
system? Have you checked for a collapsing hose section between the tank
and the pump? Have you run a fuel-pressure test? Are you sure you're
starving rather than flooding?
