Type 3 front ends are different than the bugs Shocks will not lower or raise the front end... think .. how can they?? unless your using an air shock or coilover. Stiffer shocks is the wrong way to go, they will give a stiffer ride and more shock load on everything in the front end. For the fastbacks and Notches a much better solution for better handling is using a Squareback stabilizer bar, it installs just as the original, no Modifications. See the Bentley manuel for the raising procedure, it covers it really well and is the correct way to do it. there are a few shortcuts and tricks but nothing major. Grease the whole length of the torsion bar and use antiseize EVERYWHERE.. especially the splines on the bars. Keith ------------------------------------------------------------------- Too much?
