dude.. if its red.. do your backup lights work? if not its that. connect it to your coil but I do not remember which side it
is to. now if you have it wrong you will know, as when you put the car into  reverse.. it will stall. so just switch it to the
other terminal and you will be fine =) hope this helps.. if not, sorry to bug ya!
