Hey, DONT USE THE EXHAUST HEADER WRAP!!!! It will put X-Tra Heat in your Engine! Unless you have Turbo, It isnt all that good to keep all that heat in there eh? If I'm wrong sorry.. but in a T-3 ALL the Cooling Air comes from the FENDERS Through that Big Boot in the back of your Car.... so having the header unwrapped, seems hotter to open the decklid... but.... in the longrun your engine is cooler.. Well later all... Jason 1970 T-III Fastback with A Custom Stinger.... I got the Rivera's.. but I am taking them back.. upon close inspection... one is Different than the others... I really love the three that are the same.. but the odd one ruins the whole thing.. it makes the one tire closer to the car etc.. and it pokes out more in the middle and the outer lip is odd too.... =( So sad.. oh well I may just go get some stockers.. 10 a piece is decent right? well I have some black spoke rims for sale.. 30 bucks? one of them is a little bect, the PO curbed it.... so.. I will sell DIRT cheap... well.. later.! -----Original Message----- From: Scott Morrow <smorrow@gbutler.com> To: type3@vwtype3.org <type3@vwtype3.org> Date: Tuesday, June 16, 1998 2:47 PM Subject: Re: exhaust paint >At 04:04 PM 6/15/98 -0700, you wrote: >>I was wondering if any one has had any luck in painting there heater boxes, >>and cooling tins.
