I'm running a Facet pump on my stupor beetle right now.  It's got an
1835 with a holley/weber progressive carb on it, and doesn't seem to
have any fuel delivery problems.  It is noisy as heck at times though.
I don't know about John's experience with a pump failing so soon, my
buddy Forrest was running two facet pumps on his class 9 off-roader, and
never had a failure.  On the other hand, those Holley pumps are "the
pooh", as they say.  I was planning on using the Holley blue pump on my
roadster project.
