I have recently completed lowering my '66 square, and it was fairly simple. Toby gave me the best advice, to buy a Haynes or Bentley manual, as it describes everything except the rotation of the torsion arm upward a number of splines to lower. I rotated two splines and got an approx 1" drop. It took me about five hours to complete, and I suggest taking the spindle off of the mount for the ball joints instead of removing the steering arm to get the torsion bar loose and out of the housing. Just pay attention, be clean, and do one side at a time, and you shouldn't run into any big problems. Nathaniel M.
