Believe it or not there was a >T4 Squareback all done up in 70's pinstripping with a sign: "go ahead >and laugh at my T4, I'm used to it". This year was our best turn out, especially with the spectators! Many clean cars, both air and water (Peter & Craig, ya missed the cutie who drove the yellow water pumper...but I got her picture ;) The Notch' that won *was* nice -- I voted for it! However, the other two weren't as nice as my baby (but I'm very biased :) >...I got a close look at that oil cooler mount... Oil FILTER mount. Just wanted to clarify ;) >...That 5 speed has got >to be considered a pure driver's investment, because you can't SEE how >bitchin' it is... Yeah, next show I hope to have a better display...body jacked to see underneath and mirrors, car stats, etc. >...There was an immaculate low mileage '66 fast in the for sale area >$4,000...I mean everything was >red; seats, paneling, carpet, armrests, dash, steering wheel, steering shaft, >even the turn signal lever! WOW If you don't want to bother with doing a >restoration call Gary Ledgerwood @ 1-800-547-2594. Yeah, it was nice! I took a picture of the interior. It also had a tow hitch just like mine. Didn't get to see the engine bay but it looked stock underneath. Also saw a fairly stock Square' with, get this, a custom fiberglass hood that was ported for a BOOMING stereo speaker box that filled the trunk...hard to explain but once you see the pictures you'll understand...it was...different... There was also a Notch' that was drag racing. Very nice looking, and yes, I took it's picture as well. I'll be a postin' the pictures once I get the film developed and let y'all know. Damn, with all these pictures it sure would've been nice if I had a writer for a magazine article...
