Just when I managed to get my firewall/plenum underway..this. Saturday I began Keith Parks procedure for rust, starting with the front fenders and wheel wells. Lo and behold, just like he said I'd see on my 72 squareback, those damn stamped plates with the CLOGGED drain holes in the front wheel wells. 1/2 hr. later they were chipped out COMPLETELY and in the process I dug out rust all along both wheel wells, and clear through the trunk wall. Both sides. Also found that the right side where the bumper bolts from the front of the trunk (way down there.) also two or three taps and the whole thing fell apart in a three inch radius. So. What do I do?
