It happen to me too...idle was rough. Them my cousin told me if I block off
the hose that go from the vacuum to the left carb (front is front), I say
no. After I block off the hose with a screw it idle fine, this was in '95.
Not to contradict you Jeff, two different vehicles here. I 'm talking here
same as you, from experience. And yes, I wish I had kept my stock
distributor. I'm in search for one to install a Pertronix in. I like the
stock look and the 009 is the only thing that is not in my engine. I love
the performance of my 009 as well. Does anybody has a stock dizzy for my '68
Notch 1600 ? Thanks
