Do you have a mechanical gas pump?

The diaphram has busted.
There is a straight shot down the pump push rod down to the oil sump.

Replace or rebuild gas pump.
Drain the oil.
Allow time for trapped gas to evaporate.
Refill to proper spec's.
(ie: drain Friday night, leave the sump plate off, put the sump plate in
the driver's seat so you won't accidentally forget and drive off, reinstall
pump, sump plate and refill Saturday morning.)

Go on your happy T-3 way.

Big Al
