henryvw- from my knowledge of automatics (mostly fords, chevys) it sounds like your high/reverse clutch isnt coming on. the only remedy for this is a rebuil°Ÿ¾ t know where to find rebuild kits though for a vw auto. but what happend was the reactionary member in the trans (either a band or clutch packs) has burned off all of the friction material. check the fluid and if it is a little dark (should be bright red) and smells kind of bad, that is what most likely happend. hans 73' thing 70' square auto ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
