As soon as I got off the bridge, I pulled of into a gas station. I sprinted to the back, pulled out the dipstick. about 1/50 of a Milliter on bottom. Smoke coming from the filler tube. There was enough heat to rotisserie a small dog... I figured that was the problem. Any other ideas?? Its stock, stock, stock. 70K miles. Whats weird is that I have no clue where the oil went. It never leaked before.... -rj > -----Original Message----- > From: Erkson, Toby [SMTP:toby.erkson@intel.com] > Sent: Friday, August 21, 1998 10:39 AM > To: "type3@vwtype3.org" > Subject: RE: [T3] i am a murderer.... > > Why are you sure that oil loss is the problem?
