[T3] Generator Rebuilding (2nd try--oops!)

Sorry--sent that last one before I was finished...

Bare bones story 8) :

My original generator is dead.  I went to grab one of the extras I have
rattling around in the garage, and found that both of them are from some
other type of VW--they turn backwards, and instead of having bolts on each
end so I could take off the pulley and switch it around, they have a bolt
on one end and a metal cap or something on the other end.

Here are my questions:

1)  Does anyone have a used generator that would fit a 1971 Squareback for
sale?

2)  Does anyone have guesses as to what VW these other generators came
from?  (I'll have parts #s next time I'm out there)
