The Factory files were usually updated with extra pages or revised methods, so even if it says 1965 on the cover, it may contain later pages (usually references are on pages at bottom or on spine edge. >From about 1972 they collected them into separate files on the main parts of the cars, covering all models, though the body repair manuals didn't include the Type 3 as it has its own file. The Bentley is actually titled "Official" I believe this just means that it came with the approval of VW. The "real official" as in blue 6 ring loose leaf binder dealer versions, are rare in all vears, expecially after 65, or so I hear. I don't own one, but would like to.
