What Gauges to use, VDO gauges, are reasonable, OK they may not be accurate to 1 Degree F, but I doubt if any are. Most inacurracies are in the sender unit rather than the gauge. The important thing you need from a gauge is for it to be consistant, so you can see the oil preasure / temp, cylinder head temp changes from what you are used to seeing.
