Actually, the screwdriver method I described worked smashingly (bad pun intended) until I got cocky and thought the windshield would be just as easy. Classic case, I'm standing in a body shop, with people who do this every day, should I ask for help? Nah... any fool can take a windshield out! famous last words. BTW, someone recently asked about what they can do to preserve seals, I used a product called Clear Guard on all of mine and they were nice and squishy, as opposed to hard and crunchy-looking before I put it on. You brush the stuff on (even though it's in a spray bottle, I found it much neater to brush on) and leave the excess on the seal and it softens them up again. It can also be used on all of the stock interior vinyl. It works like Armor All, but without the slimy residue or smell I notice. And no, I don't sell the stuff or own stock in the company. I just like it. Is that so wrong? Jake
