Fuel Filter Postion Poll

Just wondering as to where everyones fuel filter (in-line) was in relation to
the engine. I put new fuel line on my notch today following the problem with
the pump (all systems go now, thanks !), and rerouted the filter, as per Mr.
Merritt's advice at the CMH show, to just in front of the front shroud near
the tranny. I also put on a silencer while I had the left-rear wheel off, all
seams well. Anyone know how much those accordian looking silencers are, the
ones that go from the heat boxes to the body ?? Just wondered, I saw a box of
them at Manassas and they wanted $5 ea. Pricey it seemed, but I needed one.
