	Hey, Jake we got your message and the procedure goes as follows.
first you unhook you clutch cable, throttle cable,and everything else 
soyou can slide motor and tranny back in one piece.  After this is done
then you remove front and rear tranny mount bolts and also the rear
engine hanger bolts.  Then once this is done you then slide the engine
and tranny back two to three inches to allow access to the trasmission
snout.  Then you remove the snout itself and then put all 3 shifting
dogs in neutral position.  Then put hockey stick in place and then
carefully put the snout back in place without shoving the shifting dogs
in. This should probably solve your problem.  This happens on occasion
but if you do what we say it should be just fine.
