Well, I have thought about changing mine over too.. You can get special carbs made by Weber (at least that's all I know of) that are just for T-3's... they fit under your decklid so they are out of the way. Fast Freddies sells them mail order.. just look in Hot VW's or VW Trends, Or VW Custom & Classic... they run around $700 for 40's & $400 for 34's. I'm not 100% positive on my info, but I hope it helps..
