Hi everyone, if you have sent in a "pledge" for contributing to the new Type III e-mail list & web site, you should have received a message similar to what appears below. I'm sending this to the entire group, in case others would like to join in. Remember, any amount is helpful... while nobody will be excluded from participating. The "pledges" for the new e-mail list/web site have topped $1,300! That's a healthy commitment from the group (the minimum goal was $920), so we're ready to move forward. I've opened a separate checking account for the Type III e-mail list/web effort. Without a special business tax i.d. number, I couldn't set it up so that checks could be written to "Type 3"; they would, however, let me set it up so that they could be written to: "Greg Merritt (Type 3 Web)" (Yeah, they thought I was a little weird!) The account is very basic--no fees charged for anything, but no interest earned. Simple. If you wanted to wire money, the routing number is 598313500 and the account number is 6883072781. It's easiest if you can send U.S. funds--preferably a U.S. traveler's cheque. (Checks drawn on foreign funds will take several months to process, I'm told!)
