I CAN'T BELIEVE MY LUCK!!!  The insurance adjustor is a VW enthusiast!  He
spent about 45 minutes just admiring it and asking question after question.
Maybe there's hope after all...he said there's no way that he's going to
declare my car totaled.  Thank God - someone who recognized my car for what
it's worth.  

Now the only thing I have to worry about is the damn woman handling the claim...
