Re: Kick-down switch and special bolts for torque converter

You might beable to help me with a problem. I own a 1971 SB in kill
condition and the other night we were coming back from a vw show not to
far away but all of the sudden i think that this one black wire the
connector broke. And all of the sudden my (G) light would dimly glow,
but when you turned lights on and stuff it wouldnt get brighter so i
figure that it isnt a charging problem and then when i turn on a
turnsignal the G light flashes like its the turn signal light. Ok catch
this so far?
Then when i got home i casually turn the car off and when i switched the
ignition on then the G and the light to the right of it would flash
together with the turnsignals but after you start the car up it would
stop but the G light would be dim and go out intermintently and after a
while it will just stay dim.

So its like something is activating the relay and the signal lights arent
flashing or nothing. I dont know. Everything comes back to this wire
suddenly appearing off and not knowing where it goes!!!

Also i was wondering if anyone knew how to take the relay panel and fuse
box out without pulling out the whole A/c stuff. (I forgot to mension but
no compressor is hooked up)

71 Squareback Need Quarterpanel work otherwise perfect Cond.
83 GTI Rabbit 150K and still kickin.
