Yea, the guy won the "moron of the year award" (if anyone knows the website url for the "organization" that presents these awards please post, we would all enjoy). They figured that at some point in his trip he realized just how fast he was approaching the cliff wall and began applying his brakes, which of course melted after a few seconds then he became airborne and slammed into the cliff quite aways up. The authorities actually thought it was an airplane wreck they found at first. Then there was the bloke that tied a couple of weather balloons to his lawnchair... was reported by airtraffic control as he had drifted into airtraffic lanes!
