As long as that DC-10 turbine doesn't fall off! ;) I actually read about a guy who somehow fastened a booster rocket onto the back of his '72 Impala or whatever Generican car it was. He fired it up and got up to like 300 mph (at least!), lost control entirely (didn't he even consider these things?) and slammed into a cliff face, killing him instantly. ...So, who's up for a little DC-10 conversion?
