I can only speak for myself, but I enjoy driving my car too much every day to make it a top-notch show car (not to mention that I couldn't afford the major bucks to do so). I see so many people lugging their perfect cars around on trailers to vw shows, and I can't believe what a pleasure they're depriving themselves of--to have such a beautifully restored machine and never drive it. It all comes down to what you want out of the car--daily driver, sunday driver, or a show piece. That's just my $.02 worth, and I can appreciate other people who like to have a beautiful possession to see, touch and admire (thank goodness for these people who have these cars for us to oogle).
