My wife just called me from school with the dreaded "I smelled something burining I think under the dash, smells like wires" I didn't know what to say exactly, but I gave her these things to check: Fold the rear seat up and make sure there is nothing touching the heater vents. Open the trunk, and see if the dash side is wet (in case water is getting in behind the dash). Get down in the floor board and stick head as much as possible under dash, and smell. Turn key on (not to start) and see if burning smell continues.
