Anyone interested in a reproduction of the early push-button unit buttons? The push-button units were installed on all T3s (including T34s) from 1961-1964 (up to chassis #0 423 139, late 1964 models), so I'm sure there is a need. I've enclosed a JPG image to this email if you want to see the buttons. What I am thinking is this: - have a special T34 Registry member repro the button covers - have the graphics repro'd & printed on clear stickers - assemble the complete repro buttons for owners - offer individual buttons in addition to full sets Here's my questions for the groups ( before I go to the expense & work): - how many of you need these buttons? - how much is appropriate to pay for the set or individuals? Since we have a Registry member that can repro stuff in plastic or metal (small pieces), I would like to do the small things that owners need if it can be done inexpensively and accurately. Please let me know if you think it's a good idea. -- LEE THOMAS HEDGES VW T34 KG Registry http://www.type34.org Notchback Owners of North America http://www.ixpres.com/hedges/nona.html Vintage/Historical Editor, VW Trends magazine Attachment converted: Lakshmi:pushbuttons.jpg (JPEG/JVWR) (0000D24D)
