My last set of calipers was nothing like the original stock set, but they fit, had the same type of pads and the pistons were the same size, plus they worked.  One difference was they weren't "handed", they fit either side equally well, an improvement as far as I can see.  Had two bleeders, used the top one on each side to get the air out.  Don't sweat the cosmetics if you can stop.  Just my 2 cents worth.  This was for an early '71 SB
