Tim, My 63 Type three Ghia has the same type of set up. It is a SHOULDER-ONLY belt. A lap belt will work, but put the larger-buckle half on the tunnel so that the excess belt will be inside the car and not hanging out the door. try that. Big Al awpresley@earthlink.net
