Re[2]: type 3 books

Great! Now, how about them thar third editions, you know, the ones that cover
the '71+ vehicles?

     stock '75 Porsche 914 1.8L

P.S. Did I mention that I have a '72 Squareback? I do, I do. A 1972
Squareback. Yep, 1972. Seventy-two.

Hi there, great idea to create this mailing list.
I'm contemplating some questions, but first an answer:
Apart from the Bentley and Haynes manuals there are more !!
There even is an Australian workshop manual covering all type III's:
Scientific publications' workshop manual series No47 VOLKSWAGEN covering
type 3. Published by Scientific Publications Pty. Ltd. 142 Clarence
Street Sydney, 2000, New South Wales. First edition April 1968, second
edition March 1971. National Library of Australia Registry Number: SBN
85566 028 7. I bought it (new!) 6 years ago in Perth, Australia. Don't
ask
me where, can't remember. So Aaron, next to zero and nothing you can find
this down under.
The second one is The Volkswagen 1600 technical manual by Henry Elfrink.
First edition 1966, second edition 1969. Published by Henry Elferink
Automotive P.O. Box 20367 Los Angeles. He also published manual on
Volkswagen fuel injection which I unfortunately don't have (yet).
