Everyone, First thing: If you don't have any shop manuals, get 'em. I have a Haynes manual for the Type III (it's cheap, touches on everything, and VW specialty shops have them), some other nondescript Type III shop manual, and The Idiot's Guide (something I think should be *mandatory* for any home VW mechanic). When I get the bucks I plan on getting the ultimate: Bentley. Second thing: Don't feel silly. Hell, you own a Type III, you already are part of an elite, silly group :P""" Toby Erkson air_cooled_nut@pobox.com modified '72 Squareback stock '75 Porsche 914 ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: Re: Type III Interior questions... Anyone on either list care to educate the both of us (as I also need to remove the dash levers)? Thanks!
