It will have (or should have) a lip that you can take a FINE-tipped, needle-nosed plier and grab the tab and pull straight out. If you don't have the FINE-tipped pliers you can use a small screwdriver, but watch out, it will FLY. (I've lost a few until I got the pliers). I've never had to remove the cables, so I can't help you, but I'll look at mine. Hope this helps, Big Al awpresley@earthlink.net
