Greg, and everyone else, I have the same hitch, and it was a dealer option or an aftermarket purchace, they were NEVER a factory installation. (Just like whitewalls or the radio.) About the max weight, it mainly refers to the tongue weight. If you were towing the bug with a tow bar, they only weight 20lbs(?), no problem. About the stupid T-3 tricks, No Greg, noone else ever drops the nut, but you. ;) Big Al awpresley@earthlink.net
